What is the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean?

Think of standard cleaning as regular upkeep, like a quick trim at the salon. A deep clean, however, is the full treatment—thorough, detailed, and transformative. If routine tasks have fallen behind, there’s likely hidden dirt, grime, and even mold quietly piling up. Whether it’s allergens under the couch or built-up dust in untouched corners, these neglected areas can lead to bad smells, health issues, and awkward moments with guests. If you work from home or often have visitors, deep cleaning your home in Arizona every few months can make a big difference. We typically recommend starting with a full deep clean to set a solid baseline for future regular appointments, and refreshing it every 2–3 months or around major events or holidays.

Do you tip apartment cleaners?

Cleaning checklists can vary from one company to another. Here’s what’s included in a typical Glanz Cleaning standard service:
‍Kitchen & Dining Areas:
Wipe down exterior surfaces of appliances (fridge, oven, dishwasher), clean microwave inside and out, sanitize counters, polish sinks and faucets, general dusting, sweep or vacuum floors, mop hard surfaces, and take out trash.
‍Bathrooms:
Sanitize tubs, showers, shower doors and tracks, towel bars, mirrors, sinks, counters, toilets, and floors. Perform general dusting and remove trash.
‍Bedrooms & Living Rooms:
Wipe down sliding glass doors, dust all flat surfaces (tables, dressers, etc.), straighten pillows and make beds (change linens if provided), clean mirrors, empty trash, vacuum floors and stairs, and mop hard floors.

What is included in a deep house cleaning?

If it’s your first time booking with us, we suggest starting with a deep clean to get your space into pristine condition for ongoing upkeep. This includes everything from the standard cleaning list, plus:
‍Kitchen & Dining:
Wipe cabinet exteriors, clean baseboards, dust individual décor items, and wipe down doors and frames.
‍Bathrooms:
Remove built-up hard water stains, deep clean tubs and showers, wipe cabinet exteriors and baseboards, detail decorative items, and clean doors and frames.
‍Bedrooms & Living Areas:
Clean ceiling fans, wipe blinds and window sills, clean sliding door tracks, vacuum or mop under furniture (as long as it's accessible), and wipe baseboards, doors, and frames.

Are there services you don't offer?

We focus on safe, effective residential cleaning. Here’s what we don’t provide:
- Biohazard cleanup (e.g., bodily fluids)
- Decluttering or organizing services
- Exterior window cleaning
- Moving or lifting heavy furniture
- Carpet or steam cleaning (though we’re happy to recommend a trusted partner)
- Cleaning areas out of reach beyond a two-step ladder
- Services for clients who treat our cleaners with disrespect
